Northwest Urgent Care, LLC Agrees to Acquire 10 Carbon Health Urgent Care Centers

TUCSON, Ariz., Sept. 16, 2024 – Leaders at integrated healthcare network Northwest Healthcare today announced an agreement for Northwest Urgent Care, LLC to acquire 10 Tucson-area urgent care centers from Carbon Health. The transaction is expected to be complete in the fourth quarter this year, growing Northwest Healthcare to more than 80 sites of care.
“This strategic action will accelerate our growth and increase our capacity and network of access points close to work and home for people throughout the Tucson market,” said Brian Sinotte, market CEO of Northwest Healthcare. “These 10 Carbon Health centers provided convenient, quality urgent care for more than 114,000 patients in 2023. Bringing them into our network will make us stronger and make a greater impact on the health and well-being of our community when we are working together.”
Over the past five years, Northwest Healthcare has invested approximately $200 million in strategic growth and capital projects in the Greater Tucson market to make healthcare services more accessible for patients and community members. This includes the opening of new hospitals and medical office buildings in Sahuarita and Houghton, multiple ambulatory surgery centers, urgent care centers and physician clinics. Most recently, the network opened Northwest Urgent Care at Houghton at 7375 S. Houghton Road, Suite #115 on Friday, September 13.
