Northwest Women's Center Team Helps Get Moms and Babies Off to the Best Start
8/13/2025
Caitlin, who recently delivered a baby girl at Northwest Women’s Center in May, says the “amazing nurses, doctors, and staff” helped make her experience safe, comfortable, and joyful throughout her labor, delivery, and postpartum hours.
“I loved Dr. Brooks, who brought so much confidence into the room, and who got the baby out quickly,” Caitlin says. “I loved her energy and positivity through the delivery and third stage. Thanks also to Tammy, who took the absolute greatest care in placing my IV (knowing I have quite a history of a fear of needles), and who was right by my side when my blood pressure was low and needing to be stabilized. Looking back, I'm shocked that I wasn't scared during all of those hours, but I truly think I was calm knowing that Tammy was monitoring everything and giving me the best care.”
Caitlin also thanks Lacie, who was “incredible” throughout the labor process – and who also helped the new baby begin nursing immediately. “Lacie set me up for postpartum recovery success in the most empowering way,” she says. “Also, Tammie took the best care of my baby girl from the moment she was born, working her magic while the baby was with me to ensure her lungs were clear and working well.”
Finally, Caitlin thanks Hayley for helping her feel well taken care of and comfortable during the postpartum period. “She brought such a fun energy, and I was able to relax a bit knowing that she was taking care of my baby girl and me through the night,” Caitlin says. “I can honestly say that while we were excited to be discharged home, we didn't want to say bye to Hayley!”
Northwest Healthcare is incredibly proud of each member of this team for all they do to help moms, babies, and families get off to an outstanding start. Our heartfelt thanks and appreciation go out to them all!
