Northwest Allied Physicians Welcomes New Providers
4/3/2018
Tucson, AZ (April 2, 2018) — Northwest Allied Physicians, serving Tucson, Oro Valley, Marana, Green Valley, Vail and beyond, recently welcomed several new providers to its growing practice. Currently, Northwest Allied Physicians has nearly 60 outpatient providers representing 15 specialties.
Mohammad Khaled Dardari, M.D., Internal Medicine & Geriatrics
63701 E. SaddleBrooke Blvd., Suite F, (520) 818-0300
“I chose internal medicine because I wanted to be able to work with adult patients who have a broad range of illnesses. While I like caring for all patients over 18, as a geriatrician, I have a special passion for elderly patients. My areas of focus are preventive medicine, diabetes, high cholesterol, thyroid disease, and osteoporosis. I also stress screening for early signs of dementia and manage patients with complex pharmaceutical regimens.”
Aynur Okcay, M.D., Sleep Medicine
6130 N. La Cholla Blvd., Suite 200, (520) 352-1077
“In my practice, I treat patients of all ages, from newborns to geriatrics. I treat a wide variety of sleep disorders and often see patients with sleep apnea, narcolepsy, restless leg syndrome and other disorders that cause abnormal behavior during sleep. Sleep can have an impact on the entire body and it is impossible to attain overall health without healthy sleep.”
Erica Hede, FNP-C, Family Medicine
3630 W. Tangerine Rd., Suite 100, (520) 744-3206
“My favorite thing about being a primary care provider is getting to treat the whole person, not just one specific disease process. I like to take a comprehensive, holistic approach to patient care because I understand that emotional and spiritual health are just as important as physical health to overall well-being.”
Luke Huffaker, DNP-BC, Family Medicine
10120 E. Old Vail Rd., Suite 100, (520) 989-8012
“I chose family medicine because I wanted to build a lasting relationship with patients. I enjoy working with patients to provide the knowledge and motivation needed to take control of their health – whether through diet, exercise, or other lifestyle changes that allows them to live their healthiest life. Health is about choices, and I help my patient choose healthy environments.”
