ACC Chest Pain with Primary PCI Center Accreditation
Northwest Medical Center is an accredited Chest Pain with Primary PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention) Center recognized by the American College of Cardiology Accreditation Services. Our protocol-driven approach to heart care allows us to reduce time to treatment during the critical first stages of a heart attack or coronary artery blockage.
Bariatric Accreditation
Northwest Medical Center has received the bariatric surgery accreditation from the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program.
Designated Comprehensive Breast Imaging Center
Northwest Women's Imaging, located on the campus of Northwest Medical Center, is a Designated Comprehensive Breast Imaging Center. This means that we seek and earn accreditation in all of the American College of Radiology breast imaging accreditation programs and modules, and strive to offer a one-stop, quality patient experience.
HFAP Primary Stroke accreditation
Northwest Medical Center is an HFAP certified Primary Stroke Center. The certification means that we meet national standards for the care and safety of stroke patients.
AZDHS Cardiac Receiving Center
Northwest Medical Center is recognized as an Arizona Cardiac Receiving Center by the Save Hearts in Arizona Registry & Education (SHARE) program. The recognition means that we provide treatments designed to improve patients' chances of survival after sudden cardiac arrest.
