Northwest Medical Center – Houghton is certified by The Joint Commission as an Accredited Advanced Primary Stroke Center. That means we have demonstrated expertise in the early assessment, rapid diagnosis and treatment of stroke emergencies according to The Joint Commission.
ACC Chest Pain with Primary PCI Center Accreditation
Northwest Medical Center is an accredited Chest Pain with Primary PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention) Center recognized by the American College of Cardiology Accreditation Services. Our protocol-driven approach to heart care allows us to reduce time to treatment during the critical first stages of a heart attack or coronary artery blockage.
AZDHS Cardiac Receiving Center
Northwest Medical Center is recognized as an Arizona Cardiac Receiving Center by the Save Hearts in Arizona Registry & Education (SHARE) program. The recognition means that we provide treatments designed to improve patients' chances of survival after sudden cardiac arrest.
